Russo: I use Maxwell with C4D so don't know about the saving difficulties you are experiencing.

Noise, as you say, generally reduces over time. How fast the noise diminishes is also dependant on the scene being rendered. Closed interiors, scenes with dielectric materials, chosen light source/s etc all contribute to noise.

Hopefully, as Maxwell Render further develops, noise will be less of a problem.

well, maxwell works outside max so it doesn't use max's vfb. the output sequence path should work just fine, in case you don't specify any output path your image should be saved under the default one ( D:\Next Limit\Maxwell\output) as default.tga
