sss honey and noise issue again

Hi,
I'm giving up kiling this noise :
Image
It's level 18+ after more than 30 hours. The preview image looks like dielectric behind dielectric. The less absorption, the worse the noise. Glass inside is actually cutout where the plastic SSS honey is.
absorption here is 0.4 (scattering = 0.15)
At 0.1, there is some colored noise actually bleeding near the bottom of the pot.
dielectric abbe = 150.

hmm...i would do the honey with a dielectric with some roughness.
for the 'clear' honey a dielectric without the roughness.

it looks like sh... oops! sory.

... it is maxwells worst case - the light travel two times through the dielectric (from the lightsource and to the camera). :?

Nice try... the color of the honey is a little off IMHO.

But isn't it the same if I replace plastic with dielectrics? Then, though, the noise goes away much faster. Why?

I only know, that Maxwell have problem if light go from a light source through glass to a diffuse surface and than again through the glass to the camera. If you use only dielectrics, than the camera see only light from surfaces behind the glass and not from inside. Is only an idea.

Maybe, the dielectric absorbtion bug could be a problem for your golden honey and clear glass model.
