higher sampling level... less improvements (38h@~lvl20)

Hi!
I rendered this little scene.
And I recognized that the improvements in higher sampling level aren't really appropriate to the quality improvements.
I'm really amazed by the quality of MW. And it's just fine it takes longer than other render engines, since it's much more physically based.
The only sad thing is, that it's really hard to get an image out of MW that is completely noisefree if you combine things like SSS and dielectrics.
Certain parts are allready like perfect but others don't...
Take a look at this image that took me 38h and reached lvl 19.71

I really love those refractions. But it still has noise... :s
Or is it that I allways have to double the resolution and sample it down afterwards?

Greatings to all you MW enthusiast, like me
