I believe the UVW Map you selected in the last pic is the one to go with, but please please please to whatever god there is up there (if any) select another concrete texture!! that's the most important thing, don't ruin your model with that one..

Not to ruin Concrete Pedro's thread here anymore but i gotta say this :D hehe.. soon i'll donate some OTHER textures to you, and that would be anything but concrete so you can widen your artistic horizon and do stuff like wooden structures and things like that! :) maybe if you want some more tips and other suggestions i'll be happy to give you those too, for free!

this is not even funny. what do you care if he uses only concrete or wood or plastic or foam? and above all, what makes you think you have the right to call anybody a moron? is it a texture based opinion?

when you make a box , or line and extrude , max has the generate uv on by default . if you apply a uvmap over this , must first(or after) off the generate uv button of the box or extrude object to have the security that the only uv that is on are that you apply with uvmap .
Too , if you have a mesh that had a uv map but you collapse all the object on a editable mesh , and now want to change the mapping , the clear uv tool of max , and after apply a new uvmap , dont go ok .
This is my experience , but really i liked to know if someone more has the same thing with this .

I do care what sort of pictures are posted here because I expect more out of maxwell than just a bunch of simple texture architectural images.

Oh dear, I forgot to put in an obnoxiously strong DOF effect.
