how to safe image as jpg??

Helo I am new to max as well as maxwell.....
When I render with maxwell, how can I save the picture??
I dont get it??

Ok, in the System tab in 3dsmax after you assigned Maxwell as your renderer look for "Output Sequence" there u set a location and a filename and a format you wanna save as such as jpeg or whatever and then when you render it saves the image to the location where you specified in the Output Sequence box.

Thats what I do and evrything comes out black on the saved picture???

Geez.. well alright, then for how long do you let it render ? probably you set up your scene wrong with no lights or nothing like that so it just renders nothing. Check your scene and your materials again and make sure all that is prepared ok and then try again.

I am using beta 1.2....with max 7
On the renderwindow everything is OK. When I go on my desktop where I saved the jpg....I double click on it and Jeee.....it's all black???

Yea but as i said regarding your scene setup, recheck it so you have light emitters there and everything else including your materials are ok. Maybe you could post your scene because just the one/two words of text you write here really don't help me find out what's wrong. You need to give all the details for me or anyone else to be able to help in any way at all.
The more info we have, the more and better our help can be.
