Hey guys long time heheheh . Will I have been working in project for my teacher called The Roy house it will be built soon! But we still are working in the design as you see. The interior space is not done yet because I am still working on it. However as you see I am still working in the external space. Am going to need a lot of help from you all soon because as soon as I move in side the Roy house there is light system and new architecture materials that we are using in the house .because it’s a low budget house . I’ll tell you about it more later.
These images are quick render with Maxwell I did not even spend time in the materials yet. All am doing is modeling, changing and adding. It would be nice to show uall what we up too around here: D. also we used some photoshop after just for this time . for the final all well be done with maxwell. I will be updating this topic soon because we made some changes

Very nice renders, looks like the materials are pretty good already.

Why is the house on a platform? Is it to keep all those bugs away? :P

Mihai sup man. Good question :) that the problem I am having with the view and the vegetation. but it is a good question. The Roy house placed on the Ravine. However u can see the Ravine when u standing on the house deck but when u under in the Ravine the vegetation covers every thing. the humen see different from the camera some how . This is still in the design process. If you have any idea about cameras and view that would be sweet. Also as you know southern weather suck bad and the land in Louisiana, rain, and the house in the edge forced us to left it up.
this is not the updated 3d model cause it change so much from the last time. this is the last cad upadet to give u an idea . one more thing i ve been asked to show the Ravine/house / vegetation for the next renderings

Oh right...I guess you will have to make several renders, one with less veggies to show the ravine...shame though it's covered too much by those tall trees, it would have been great to have solar panels on the roof seeing it has so much area.

Please post some bigger renders when you're finished, it's a very nice example of Maxwell's strength showing the light distribution influenced by all those leaves. Nice work!

Great renders so far, and I love the concept of low budget, modern style homes. A wonderful alternative to the basic "double-wide" trailer homes. Looking forward to hearing more about your project!

mihai No problem. : ) .by the way what is good martial for leaves. I know u have been working with vegetation more then me. Some of the leave types in this site are thin other are thick .any idea how to get the martial to do that.

Thank you : ) . i am going to re render the two images in top because there is something that I found out about the sun and sky system. That I forget to tell you all about that may need to be worked on!!!! I did change some of the hue/saturation, brightness and contrast in Photoshop. These are the only tools I used . They did not look as same as its now . I’ll post them as soon as I have time.
all I can say that the coloring was not rich as much before and the sun light as well . So I had to go back and rework the HUE/striation and add 24+ contrast and 15 brightness.

hue/sriation make me    sometime

: Testing Plywood texture: in one of the first stages design 3d model.

This is some textures testing I did yesterday in an old model that I made in the first stage of design. We are using plywood as a house martial, but not all over the house as you see in the images  . What I am trying is to make this plywood as real as I can. It’s just quick test to see how to get plywood to a level of reality. any ideas ?

And I am still working in the new model pleas be patient as I this is just to get the right texture.

One more thing how come they can see textures in the weirframe model . I still get every thing black in viz :?: :?: :?: :?:  :?:

The model with interior images was just the conceptual model one of the first models we did .however the design is still in the construction document process / engineering. We did some changing in the trusses size. Just to tell you more about these types of trusses they come in different size from the factory .the factory already made the truss all we need is to change the size. And the engineers did some changing. They got a longer trusses they stop 3feet ‘ from the windows then it supported by beam 1’6” X6” . However we will cover it some thick metal decking. There is still some question about that we are trying to get the same effect as in the images on the wing type feeling. You right m3willia it is weak point at these images but it will change with update.

Also I am going to give some idea about the designer’s team for this project. Me which is student going to 5th year architecture / my teacher which is the architect/ two more students ….. We 4 do the process of design and modeling and CDs. Take it easy one me its my first real life project heheheheh . I’ll give you all more updates soon I can’t show any CDs yet because of the copy rights. However my teacher said it s okay to show the 3D work. I told him all about Maxwell.

I am going to post update every stage so you all can help me if I need to do any thing in the final rendering.

I hop that give you better idea about the Roy house project. :D
m3willia thank you for the plywood I am about to go check it out .

Wow, that interior rocks! I mean, woods... or whatever... its cool!

But Imo your vegetation needs a little more detail. I know it's just a visualisation project, but the trees look odd. I think its only distracting because it has no good natural look.
The site looks really great with all those trees (can't see the bugs. :P) and nice, calm greens. This is what you should bring back in the renderings.
