what's the best way to reduce NOISE?

hi all.

how do you guys manage to reduce NOISE? i figured that EMMITTER light cause more noise than SKY LIGHT. do you guys have same problem?

well, render the image at a bigger resolution then downscale, or use Neat Image to denoise or... leave Maxwell more time to work! :wink:

consider that dielectrics and physical sky introduce more noise than diffuse materials and standard emitters... :wink:

... double size rendering in the same time -> denoise -> downscale. But, with caustics it should be a problem, because some caustic effects need a high SL count and in double size mode it need much more time to get the same SL.
