what's the best way to reduce NOISE?

hi all.
how do you guys manage to reduce NOISE? i figured that EMMITTER light cause more noise than SKY LIGHT. do you guys have same problem?

well, render the image at a bigger resolution then downscale, or use Neat Image to denoise or... leave Maxwell more time to work!
consider that dielectrics and physical sky introduce more noise than diffuse materials and standard emitters...

... double size rendering in the same time -> denoise -> downscale. But, with caustics it should be a problem, because some caustic effects need a high SL count and in double size mode it need much more time to get the same SL.
