I've tried rerendering using the network monitor and putting the mxi:c mxi:w in the .mxc file. But soon as I add the job, it tells job completed.
Is it possible to resume through the monitor and mxc files ?

MXS is scene file and you can't resume rendering with only MXS file.
You need to create MXI file with -mxi:w and -mxi:c from the start.

Duncan, it's possible to resume through the monitor but take care of
the following issue while placing your MXC file.
