I am going to add more reflections (there is already speculars) for the floor and the table and chairs... I am doing some try-renders now, and jeez it looks even better...

Maxwell rulezzzzz !

Thanks a lot Thomas... !

nice~ very realistic, specially the sofa's material looks very good, :D

just one thing the chairs next to the dinning table looks too reflective.

Thanks, yes you're right the chairs have indeed to much specular and no reflection... this is why... I 'll change that...

I mostly like the deep end of this scene, the gloomy atmo rox!

Really nice environment! I love those soft, calm greens...

Maybe an arch wit a quite small rise would be better than this opening on the wall. Just an idea.

What else do you plan to put into the room, to fill this large space? :)

he he thanks Tom ! I am putting some wodd mini blinds... he he... This is going to be long but good.... the gloomy everywhere.... hehe

Thanks Aldaryn... there is so much still to come... about 250 objects...

BTW , what do you mean by arch wit small rise... can you explain...
This is a real house that is in renovation... very old house, very strange proportions considering today's standards...

Huh, the problem is, that I really don't know whats the proper word for that big opening on the wall, not even in hungarian... normally, I would call that an arch, but I cant say to make the arch more arch like... sounds stupid.

250 more objects? :) Good luck!

ahh I see, you mean like mosquee type... round arch... is it that..?

exactly 238 objects... he he, but lots of small ones to..

btw, I'll have quiet a few clone objects... is there some sort of instancing previewed in Maxwell final... ? (U know like 20 x the same spoon...)

well...... adding mini blinds takes as much time dielectrics does....

level 21,82... 20 hours, no resize no PP..

render time suddenly exploded.... but I must put mini blinds ! and in this render, there are no furniture... ! and look the small size....

err... too bad.. but for that one I'll have to use F_Prime... damn... I wa so happy I to use Maxwell...

ah well, let's wait another release....
Maxwell still rocks !

I'll try but the fact is that the render looks very different with or without... when I add them, it gives a more Gloomy ambiance....

But on the other hand , your trick is worth a try...

I only fear that at a bigger size, they start to be more distinct...

Thanks TonFarben ...
