what if i have 2 licenses?

if i bought a second lisence, can i use it on an extra machine for an additional user and can i also use it in combination of our first license to do distributed rendering?

we are 2 people here and think about buying one extra for my partner.
but we also want to use then 8 cpus for rendering one image, is this possible?

cheers
stefan

yep, with two licenses you can use up to 8 cpus for cooperative.

so i would install maxwell 2 times with the first license and 2 times with the second license (we have dualmachines), that would let 2 people work or 8 cpus render?

is it like that?
thanks
stefan

p.s. i just need to make 100% sure before i buy.

Hi Stefan,

When you buy an additional license, Next Limit issues you a new code which covers both licenses - the old and the new. The old code is no longer used. If you buy three licenses, they will again issue you another code to cover all three licenses. At least that's what they did for me.

You have no problem. NL can give you another license.txt for up to 8cpu's!
