You must define threads as 2 if you have a HyperThreading CPU.
Use -th:2 or -th:0 (autodetection) in your commandline parameters.

you need to find where the cmd options are in the render dialog and you will see a "-d"

...than simply edit it and type -th:16

...so your cmd options should be like: -d -th:16

the reason I say 16 is to gurantee to render with all you cpu's.
Also under Maxwel 1.33 (not sure a bout 1.2.xx) I have seen improved rendetimes with 16 threads...

Additionally you can add -p:low which gives maxwell low priority and enables you to use your computer (for internet etc.) while rendering.

hope this helps,

Or maxwell now can not use all CPU resource?

that does not mean that you render with 2 cpu's. But that maxwell (for licensing perposes) detected 2cpu's! (virtual & physical) 8)

maxxoros, so how are you getting 100% CPU usage? with -th:16 or -th:2?

In your case it is optimal using 2 threads.

P.S: I see that you are using 1_2_0_beta... 1_2_2a_beta is already available ;)
