Look all my renders get dark after sl 8. After this level is denoising very week every level. And when i am trying render only with sky and sun after sl 8 disappers all textures...

after 2hours on dual Xeon - sl7 (resized from 2400x1800):

after 16 hours - dont know sl:

Picture with disapeared textures i did not save. I can render again in case of interest. Now i do all renders with one emittr in scene. Then textures do not disapear.

Strange things. Do you have same expirience. Or am I only one? Any tip is very apriciated.

Is normal. After some few sample levels, there is a change in brightness that can be more or less bigger depending of the scene. I do so to avoid that the render begins extremely dark from the begining. Anyway, I'll try to improve this.

Best regards.

Hmmmm, I have noticed it does get darker at a certain level... but someone said (who?) that it is rendering in preview mode first, then it automatically switches to the full stuff, and therefore the image gets darker, and then again lighter with each iteration... am I right...?

What Image format are you using... I've had some glitches with Jpg, now I only use TGA's... 24 bit...

hope this helps... MMMM not much in fact... well Tom..?

herve, it's a new method oscar implemented as he told, just to have a quick idea about image at first sampling levels but with this example i agree it must be improved for such a scene.

Thanks for replay... O.K. So I have to wait until higher level to get closer to that "preview" in sl 7. And it will converge to that, will it?

Herve take a look here (almost all lichts are on): http://www.maxwellrender.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=4188

If we could change the ISO setting on the fly - which shouldn't be a major problem as it only changes the translation of the mxi to the image file - all this shouldn't be an issue.

As this is just a live preview, I guess this won't be a problem anyway as soon as we have native MXI output.

Yes i know, i can change ISO and shutter speed, but i render on external PC without displaying... So i can not do this... I have to everything set at my PC and then upload...

Very nice done. Spekoune si to namakal
The change in brightness after changing levels is not nice.Because when we do our previews and we setup out light and material we usualy stop before sample 7.And then on final render i will get something else a wanted?huh, BAD BAD OSCAR.
