Change your scale, it looks like a model. If this is not what you wanted of course.

Because he changed it to imageshack :P

Great image, nice mood.

I don't think you should have that much blur though, check if your scene scale is correct.

tell you what mihai, you should use this line as signature: "please, check your scale before posting. i'm spartacus!". it could be even followed by "oscar, will you comment on this scale?"

those serra's works are huge though, i got into one of them some years ago in venice. yours look somehow like downscaled models.

peet79, make sure you're not confusing the display units with the system units. The system units is the one you need read. Also measure your whole scene to make sure it's the right scale.

yes, red, rusty iron. they are basically huge folded sheets of iron, quite impressive pieces of work as you get in and start walking in circle toward the center of the spirals.

peet79 wrote: my model is in mm, m using mm in max when modeling .. so i set the maxwell syst units to 0,001
it's correct if you set mm as system units. what about them?
peet79 wrote: what if i use meters in max and 1,0 in maxwell does it corespond?
as long as you set meters as system units.

serra's stuff is usually made out of cor-ten steel which oxidises over time as a protective finish. he has a huge piece over at broadgate near liverpool st station in london.

peet79 wrote: how is it possible that cm(max) and 0,01 (MW) can influence dof (less) in my renders ... and mm(max)..0,001(MW)..more dof???? ididnt get it ...thx
well, that is not the point actually. your system units must be consistent with maxwell's conversion scale. if system unit is cm then is correct to set 0,01 (100 units are equal to 1 mt in maxwell), if your system unit is cm and you set 1,0 as scene scale maxwell will take what you have modeled say 100x100x100 cm as if it was 100x100x100 mt. which is obviously incorrect.
so the problem is not cm will give less or more dof than mm, what you want avoid is a messed up scene scale.

edit:
besides, what you showed before are display units, not system units. click on system unit setup and set them accordingly.

Nice image, I would try to more vary the texture. Every window show the same, this catch my eyes.
