how about the smoothing ... LW... updated

well, I am not very satisfy with that one... I knew for the clip map bug, but I thought the smoothing when there is a map was resolved.... it looks like not...

BTW, do we have now to model the leaves of trees with real thickness... I mean for a couple of leaves, that is OK, but for ten tree... it kills the poly count that was alreday so high sometimes... these olive tree leaves I made with thickness, SSS, clip map in the transparency channel in LW..

.... but for now I'd like an answer for the smoothing & maps ...
If I remove the map, looks good... I think....

now look at these...

the grey pot has a square simple grey 25% map applied as a cylinder Y
(perfectly seamless off course (in case someone doubts my map is seamless)

other tests with a pro texture (www.arroway.de)
Once applied with a uv map
and also as a cylindrical map....

what's the deal... am I doing something wrong.. I try directly in LW rendering and F_Prime... no problem...

I'd really appreciate if someone could make any comments....
(Min. 100 characters...)

Hervé,
Bumpmapping and clipmapping are not working properly and they are KNOWN ISSUES.
