try not to use TRIANGLE lights?

In the announcements there is a recommendation not to use many 'triangles' for lights... I haven't run accross this... does this mean that emitters should be quads? I have been creating all triangle objects for emitters too...

I assumed Maxwell did not SUPPORT quads... but they do for emitters?

Confused I am. Muchly

I think everything gets triangulated at rendertime so by triangles they mean use as low poly emitters as you can, no matter what shape they are. The more polys an emitter has, the more noise the render will have.
