I wouldn’t hold my breath waiting for NL to drop their prices per node, I spent 4 months begging for them to come up with a pricing structure for network rendering and the wouldn’t. Their argument is that they are cheaper than Mental Ray or Renderman, but how many architectural firms are using these engines....not many. I don't think that these are good comparisons to Maxwell anyway but that's their argument. I think ultimately having a pricing structure like this when Vray and Final Render give you unlimited render nodes is going to cause them a lot of trouble.

:: i must say... i was trrying to convince my boss to give it a try but license issues was a factor... i hope NL are listening. My office has over 50 people and about a third would need to use this application ... but just do the figures  ::
