Massive grain problem on a job deadline

Guys, check out this screenshot. Reached 15 samples and still quite grainy.

It's interior emitting lights and physical sky + sunlight, reasonable amount
of dielectrics and plastics. Other images I've done as the nokia render
reached only 13 samples and are just fine, even with and .mxi controlled
emitter behind the glass display. Any Ideas of getting rid of the grain??

Here's the result of the current project. 800x600 after 1 hr 40 min
15 samples

...and here the nokia renders on the same machine 1600x1200
after 10 hrs 13 samples

hmm... all those renders were done with the same version and I know
it can produce quite sharp good images must be something with the file.
I don't really want to go back to the alpha... too slow.

Ok

I think also there is a misunderstanding with sampling levels. It means different things for different images. Just because one scene looks clean with sl 9 doesn't mean ALL scenes will look clean at sl 9. The more indirect light you have coupled with dielectrics and glossies, the higher sl you will need for a clean image.
