i tested the alpha Vs Beta 1.02 i found the Alpha more realistic , more Details
and more nice contrast and don't know

nextlimit Made Maxwell 1.02 4X faster Vs Alpha 1.33, because they decress the reality of the render
No matter with me render time
the matter with me is the Image Realistic

I find it hard to reply on something like this. I suggest you think about
what you wrote again and if this is going into the right direction!?
My vote is: BETA ROCKS ... FULL STEAM AHEAD!! IT'S SUPERGREEN!

You will need to substantiate this claim, show us your test.
I like the Beta- it is fabuously green but I like to render in red tones!

newmain, first you make this bullshit post here, then you also post it in the gallery......what's the matter with you????
if you've done some tests, show them....
i like beta more, because i say so
This is a waste of time, this forum is getting crowded with crap because people want to post the same thing 3-4 times and drag out every conversation until they have been told exactly the same thing at least 10 times......
Use your head.....

I'll just say this, a lot of the user's here do not understand the meaning of a beta release. so we have this kind of topics where we want to say bad things about a great future ahead.
This happened to me too, with the beta test of Artlantis R, but then you see and experience the evolution to a greater state, then happiness comes and the waters are calm.
Patience is a virtue that's acquire with time and tolerance.
We are in a middle of a revolution, in which side are you???

This thread and the same one in the Gallery section is totally a waste of space and time, it does no good and it makes me suspect things i don't even wanna say here in the open.
Next time please don't post lame stuff like this, think before you type. It saves us all trouble and it don't flood the forum..
It's starting to piss me off to see this level of stupidity on here, and that's something which hardly never happen, especially not on such a nice forum as this one.

If Maxwell Alpha is better for your present requirements then simply don't use the beta in its current form. Hopefully a lot of known issues with the Beta will be sorted sometime next week.
I tend to agree about the claimed overall speed increase though - it is over hyped.

or have you tried the default scanline renderer of MAX? Give it a go mate!
It's crystal clear and sharp as a knife...

however, now we all had a go but that doesn't help anyone. As Tyrone
said earlier, why don't you post some results to underline your worries?
I think nobody will have a problem with constructive critisism. Could
be your settings or anything else...!? If you wouldn't come across like this
everyone here is keen to help...that's the quality of this forum you know.
Big Thx

You should go and try this in the Vray forum, they will basically eat you alive in there if you do it..
However, why don't you perform the tests yourself ? it's not big deal to do, then you see what you like better and you use what you personally prefer. You're a (i assume) adult man, you can make your own decisions and judgements based on what you see and experience
