									Clip map is not working in beta!!!

					I have applied UVW maps for just one simple plane, 
and also make sure the clip map is only Black and White (no greyat all) the clip map still has problems.

					if its 8 bit per channel it means a 24 bit...

					ok i tested your textures and other textures by myself with many
different formats and i confirm this error but it's not about file formats,
it seems like it's mostly about any clipmapping for max.
i don't know if other platforms also has the same problem about clipmaps.

					Quick test of clipmapping in Lightwave (transparency channel of diffuse mat) :  clipping is ok but only a very quick test, but the shadow is wrong. Worse than with alpha. In Alpha, the shadow was wrong if you look at it through the clipped part of the object (same with sun and emitters). Now the shadows isn't clipped at all.
