Nice time too.

Have you gone mad talking to yourself?
Nice tests but in the ones with the glossy floor, you would not more than 14 minutes.

When you wrote:
Look at the time in this pic! Only fourteen minutes! OK, it reached only level 11 but it´s enough I think.
It's certainly not enough if you look at the floor reflection. That's all I ment

Nice test

You don't need to use so much jpg compression though...
I got the black dots as well, not using ph sky or skydome and only using diffuse and sss....might be a problem with the sss in the diffuse....

Yes that's cool but if you wanted to test, you change
one thing at a time

Now you've changed 10 things and it could be the floor that's the problem, or it could be the new emitters, or it could be their size etc etc.....
If I were you I'd just go back to your clean scene, test it again without changing anything to make sure it's still clean, then apply metal to the floor and go from there.

It must be related to something else because I've had the dots using only diffuse and a diffuse with sss. It's something to do with sss.

may it be about roughness tonfarben?
btw/ if you can send me that scene with primitive objects (not originals) i would like to see what's happening...

i think the shadows don't look good because you have a heavily overexposed image, it's very difficult for Maxwell to arrive at a conclusion when there is so much light energy.

Hey every body, why dont we start with an implementation of a trophy, lets model a trophy in honor of MaxwellRender to give the best renders in the forums, judges can be tom, mihai, tonfarben, etc.
Sounds good????..... just an idea.

some here deserve it!!!!
Winners will be reworded with the trophy and a space in the MaxwellRender website gallery, of course if Next Limit agrees.
