Ignorant question.
I'm building a dual Xeon box.
Will I be able to let that box be my sole renderer. Meaning, send a render to it from the work station (laptop). Then be able to shutdown the laptop?

yes ... but manager for netrender have to be on Dual Xeon Box.
so on BOX You have to start : server and manager ... on laptop have to start maxwellrender to add job and then You can shut it down. manager will do the rest . then You can turn laptop on start maxwellrender connect to manager and voila ! everything should be good.

So, I can install Maxwell on another machine and use it's "server" and "manager" functions?
