Maxwell Render | Official public forum

Hi,

I am not quite ready for the 2.0 Maxwell Render upgrade for various reasons. Mainly the off-site render farm service I use is not updating any time soon. But I still need a node license. Can I get a 1.7 node license and then have it automatically upgraded when I purcahse the Maxwell Render 2.0 upgrade. Or can MW 2.0 projects render on a 1.7 farm...my guess is NO.

Can someone from NL please respond. This is imortant for me to know. I also sent a message to NL through the NL web site and have not heard anything.

I don't think they sell 1.7.1 licenses anymore, but don't you have nodes with your current license? What does it say if you go to Studio>Help>About?
