Clip map problem

I have this tree which shows some of the branches transparent but others not. If you notices the ones with the sky background are ok but the ones in fron the building shows the black map.
Any ideas why this is happening?

you're not doing the clip map dance before you hit the render button..... i hate to be such an ass, arse, and or puta head, and i say this with all respect, but there's this little button up at the top of the forum called "search". type in "clip map" when prompted and turn down the brightness of your monitor so you don't hurt your eyes from all the posts related to this... if it's too much, then print out the good stuff and stack it on top of your toilet, loue, or tocador for a truly leg numbing experience...

ohhhh don't give up wagurto, you were online for only a little bit. i bet you didn't even press the search button... maybe another response will get you back so you can try pressing it again

You should make sure the clipmap has only pure black and pure white pixels and not greys.
