I render this car only with HDRI, I notice that the car has lots of white spots, is that a problem with the HDRI? or I may do something wrong?

Hard to say without having your settings, but it seems it comes from your carpaint, try with a lambertian material, pretty sure dots will disappear!

it''s all over the place, not just on the carpaint and rims... every place that receives lighting and is not shadowed shows these spots.
look under tha car, no [direct?] light= no spots?

how long did it cook? is it a low sl?

also the tires... tiny but they are there... that's no place where indirect caustics would be... i guess...

I am rendering now with a cyclo setup, I will post the image when its done.
If that happens again I will probably render it with Mental Ray to be safe and keep my client happy.

So far it seems ok, but because i was in a hurry I didn't get a nice focus on the car
I will set it up correctly on monday and render it again with no hdri :D

Its a problem with the hdri, try a different one. If that gives the same results blur the hdri or tone the lightest parts of the hdri down so it has not that intense contrast. Maybe a picture of the hdri will help to understand the problem.

must be a problem with very high exposures (like tiny sunspot) which causes the speckle.

looks like you have to adjust gamma to 2.2 before using the hdr.

if that still leaves speckles download hdrshop and apply effect/quantize.

It may be the reason I have the spots. I have edit the hdr Image and add more exposure.
