Fastest Render-Material

Hi,

I have to do a high-res rendering of a big architectural scene. Fortunately it should look like some sort of one white material thing with a sun.

Just wanting to know, what the fastest settings for a material would be. For now I simply used a standard light-grey colour inside of Rhino and a simple sun. Would a HDRI-Image drastically augment the rendering time?

Thanks for all suggestions.

The simplest and fastest is the Lambertian material (100% roughness) with just a <242 diffuse color, no reflect/refract, no bump etc
I dont think an HDRI slows down the render, or not so much, but it's faster than the physical sky for sure.

ok did it, don't know if it's any faster than the simple light-grey colour of Rhino, but at least it's a Maxwell material. I used a sun and Maxwell sky and no HDRI-Image. It's decently fast. I'll render it out big tomorrow.

Thanks!
