I have serval questions:

1. If I save a dwg as a dxf and import it into Maxwell, geometry is missing. Why? Is there a way to resolve this?

2. Is there a way to link a dxf file into studio instead of just importing it? When you update the model, how do you update the Studio file?

Try exporting as a .3ds and opening in studio...not sure what version of autocad you are using but it should export.

Dwf format can't handle solids, it will export only surfaces. It's a very old format. Try with 3ds, it's the only way, Autocad have very limited the exporting process to other 3d programs, probably because 3dsMax
