I have win Vista 64 bit and I have installed maxwell 32 bit.
Now I'd like to install maxwell 64 bit. Is it better to unistall maxwell 32 bit before to install 64 bit?

And what about the maxwell plugin? have I to unistall it and reinstall after the maxwell installation?

thanx

They will install in different places. 32 bit in the Program Files (x86) folder and 64 bit in the Program Files folder.

I would still uninstall Maxwell 32 bit (and Max plugin) before installing Maxwell 64. Unless you have a reason to ever go back to use Maxwell 32 bit (I haven't). Make sure to copy your license file first and any other files like materials that you have created that are in the Maxwell file system.

You didn't say what plugin you use. If you are also switching from Max 32 bit to Max 64 bit, you can have both plugins installed in their respective places.

Maybe a little, but the real benefit is utilizing more than 2 Gb RAM = bigger scenes, bigger resolution, more multilight, etc.

Anyway.
