Yeah. It's the inevitably controversial question that I can't help but asking. Not trying to ruffle feather but just curious as to whether or not I can afford a Maxwellrender upgrade at this point. At the very least a price range just so I have an idea would be nice.

Thanks

PS- Not sure if it was stated in the newsletter but I haven't had a chance to read it. So I'm sure I might be eliciting the RTFNL response

Let's make this a guessing game.

I say $279.

 $279? I doubt it will be at such a low price taking into consideration that maxwell render 1.7 full license costs € 895 ok thats to new customers and not existing customes! Dont get me wrong I wouldn't mind paying $279
:D - but i doubt NL will sell 2.0 at such a low price?

Good question .. Maybe we should employ the Pix Plant 2.0 technique ??

Come on .. that's pretty funny.

It better be a substantial upgrade for that price. Maybe adjustable mxi/hdr intesities for mxm materials within plugins for that price? J/K, but I've been waiting for such a small addon to this for so long.

In my opinion, an upgrade should cost much less than a full version. Taking Photoshop as an example: the upgrade is around 30% of the original price.
So I really hope it's not more than 300€ ...

I wonder how Next Limit will upgrade the +1 licences that early purcahsers received - if we pay for an upgrade does our +1 licence then get upgraded free of charge?
