How to maximize the Dept of field for sharpness

I want to get my hole scene in focus from front to background. I selected an f-stop of 50, but this is still not enough for complete sharpness. Is there an option to make the complete scene sharp (bypass the dept of field range)?

Sounds like you have a really tiny scene, check first that the scale of your objects is correct, if it is, you can try scaling up the scene, make it twice as large for example. It won't change the lighting too much if it's already so small. It's not possible to disable the depth of field.

Also, you can move the camera farther away, then adjust the lens. If your camera is close to a small object and your scene is very large, there's no other way to lose the dof.

I run into this in jewellery rendering all of the time.... as Bubbaloo said move your camera back away from your object and then use the Render region and pick the outline of your shot. That should keep everything in focus. Good Luck!

Thanks for the feedback.
However in this case i could not move the camera back because of the desired wide angle effect. Of course i would have the same problem (or even bigger problem) with a real camera, but i hoped i could bypass this in the virtual world...

Still, the unsharpness gives the picture a nice atmoshere...
I put the rendering (of a chess game) on my site:

Nice render. It gives a good result with the dof.
