displacement problem -remodel or spinner up?

Hi!

I have problem with displacement.
Please look closely on brick material, there are some artifacts caused by bad geometry (long triangles)
Is it possible to hide this only with higher precision in displacement settings? or should I remodel this walls?
I am far away from maxwell till monday and I don't know what to do during weekend, to lay down with beer on my stomach or to strugling in VIZ.

I don't really see anything wrong with it except the split seam on the corner. That can be easily fixed with a smooth chamfer.

On another note, the brick map is too small for the amount of area it covers. (Too much noticeable tiling). For large brick maps I use the Acme tool. http://www.brick.com/

it is funny because this broken corner is already chamfered for smooth testing others are not chamfered and its look just great.

Thx for link for bricks

could be a triangulation problem. can you show the mesh?

Yes it is definetly triangulation problem. There are edges where cat scratches are. This wall was model just bad (of course not by me - I modeled roof tiles only).

I just don't know can it be fix by more PRECISON in displacement settings or should I remodel this.

What could happen with more precision is they will be less noticeable, but if there are a lot of very long thin triangles there it could be better just to insert some parallel edges there, just to split up the triangles a bit.
