Troubles - UV.Bump - Studio.Ubuntu.8.10

I had trouble with a bump map in this scene:
Image

The scale of the object is 1.000 - 1.000 - 1.000, so not scaled.

Now I get this:

I can't figure out why this map is not scaled correctly as I see in studio. It never happened to me!

Going further I never experienced this banding:

The map is "cloth_05.jpg" of Archshaders, mode RGB, 1024x1024.

Thank you,
Rickyx.

On the first two images I can't help. I don't do my uv mapping in Studio.

The last image looks to me like the bump parameter is set too high. Try a very low setting. If you use a fine bump map on a curved surface, you will start to see the facetted geometry the higher you set the bump strength.

My opinion:
If it's a close-up render of the furniture, you should use displacement and higher poly geometry. Those curves are too low-poly.

This is the (a part of the) image.

UV mapping it has been done in Blender but, don't know why was messed up, so I just passed to cubic, normally it would have been ok.
If I decrease the bump I don't see any bump. Can't get if is a material problem (don't think, is a ultra basic material), the object is not right (...why?) or the bump that has something wrong.

Thank you,
Ricky.
