Render Charges

Since Maxwell is a whole different beast when it comes to render times, I am curious if you guys (and girls) charge for actual rendering time, and if so, is it a lower per hour fee?
My boss wants me to make some changes to a rendering that I previously completed. This falls outside of our initial fee, so while I'm making the changes to the scene, of course we have our normal hourly fee, but they want to know how much to charge for the overnight render (computer usage).
Any general tips will be helpful. What do you do?

I wouldnt suggest charging for rendering as other renderers are so much faster then Maxwell it'll make you seem uncompetitive.

to prevent this situation i write in contract that extra views/renders after project delivery are 'so computed'
extra machine time to render:
x1 render res. 1200x900 = xx,xx €
x1 render res. a5 @300 dpi = xx,xx €
x1 render res. a4 @300 dpi = xx,xx €
x1 render res. a3 @300 dpi = xx,xx €
x1 render res. a2 @300 dpi = xx,xx €
..
human time to modify project
+ XXX €/h
...so clients think twice before say "ok proceed with render"

i do "round up"... so if my hour fee makes up like 250$ i charge 300$
if its 850$ charge 1000$.... i think that is fair... but i guess it also depends on the hardware you are actually dedicating to the image...
..let say in mechanical production, using a milling machine that cost 45.000$, generally said rates vary between 50-150$ / h ...
so if you paid 45.000$ for your hardware, 100+$/h would be fair (like on renderfarms)...

I think we are going to add a Ghz/hour fee like the renderfarms do. Does that sound fair? It will be relatively inexpensive. My computer is 8 core @ 2.66 Ghz.

If it's only one simple render, I still wouldn't charge anything, because that bit of power or hardware usage usually is included in your hourly fee, as polynurb stated.
Forgetting my state above or in special cases: the GHZ hour sounds like a fair solution. If you wouldn't have that machine you would have to give it away to a render farm.

If is a minor tweak I would present the bill of the renderfarm.

No I'm not charging for the time the machines are working.
We charge until I hit render, and of course for the Post-Processing.
