Dear NL Developers....
Can you please outline when we can expect some kind of revision to the software - news, expected updates etc.....
This would be fantastic and i'm sure appreciated by your loyal userbase.
Im having no end of headaches with network rendering, and other obvious areas with the package that are in dire need of attention.
Thanks for listening
cough! cough! NL? are you there?

.........Nothing.
To be honest im pretty dissapointed. As a Vray user Im only a recent member of the MAXWELL club but have issues with a number of things here.
namely:
1. high level of inertia with feedback from NL
2. general opacity of development programme
3. near-dead forum environment (although very helpful userbase when they are around!)
all of which is a real shame because the software has so much potential, and these elements are ESSENTIAL for a rendering package to succeed IMO.
i guess hope is a wonderful thing!

This is just the disappointment phase I experienced when using the RCs... Imagine, back then, the main discussion of this forum was "if NL has to give back the money to those who wanted..."!!!
I guess you have to accept (I still can't

) the fact that we wait and see...

You "glass half empty" guys are really downers.
Give you guys a pound of silver and you'd bitch because it's not gold.
Haha! Take that as the joke it was intended to be, please. I'm not frustrated per se, but more like in a state of constant anticipation for the next big things they will bring to us. (And some fixes).

UPDATE LUST!!! hehe
I would love to see an Update soon or around Summer...
However, I think pressuring a company which goal it is to be #1 on the unbiased render market and as any other company also to make profit,
will not help us an inch
Wouldn't you think new features, bugfixes et all wouldnt be the most important thing to a company like NL?
So with that in mind think they are doing the very best and as soon as there is something nicole will sure let us know!
I have only one other thing to add to this thread:
Please FIX before adding NEW STUFF!
I go absolutely mad everytime I get confronted with instancing and render issues, esp about strange behavior in MXST!!
Hope to hear from you, now or in 6 months, I dont really care

Aye! Couldn't agree more.

New stuff is nice, but fully working old stuff isn't bad either!
