Apologies for this being off topic but I'm desperate. Its happened to me in the past, but despite a re-install of both graphics drivers and MAX I cant seem to find my transform gizmos. Checked all the obvious stuff, like preferences etc... and was hoping that someone might have an answer to yet another MAX problem.

from way back i seem to recall you just press x on the keyboard to bring them back. may not be the case anymore, though its worth a try.

goog advise - but tried already annoyingly.
