Anyone have reliable info on when these i7s will arrive in dual socket configuration? It looks like sub-5 minute on the bench will become a reality for around $2k.

i think nehalem xeons are already distributed to selected OEMs,
but dual i7 (nehalem skulltrail) won't be here before 2Q 2009. that's my guess... there are just rumors about it atm.

I did a quick search and found this article http://www.hexus.net/content/item.php?item=16357

Sounds like they are guessing though so as stated before looks like there are only rumors out at the moment.

Quizzed further, Intel's mouthpieces weren't keen on providing concrete details on Xeon Nehalem EX, the 4P variant, and the non-committal responses led us to believe that we'll be seeing them much later in 2009 than originally expected.
Yeah, 4 quads on a board. Woohoo! :D
