Maxwell Render | Official public forum

Lately, maxwell render has been crashing on me, even with the most basic scene. I am using the Max plugin which has been kind of quirky. Sometimes by changing the render time or sampling level, it will render. Today I cannot get a scene started from scratch with just a plane and a box! It crashes after about a second of rendering. I have tried rendering from studio as well from the MXS that was created.

I have reinstalled the program, patch, and plugins, any suggestions?

I am running an AMD Athlon 64 X2 Dual Core Processor 4000+ 2.01 GHz, 3.5 GB of Ram, and an ATI Fire GL V7100.

After reinstalling the program and patch, I reinstalled the max plugin last. Now it will render. Although the first render goes to 100% immediately with no image. If I hit the render button again, the render will start.

Nevermind, it went back to not rendering again while writing this reply!

I tried it in both Max 2008 and 2009 with the same result.

Did you reinstall without complete uninstall?
Try a complete uninstall, even use some registry cleaning program like CCleaner (freeware) and they try again.
