machine: Q66000
operating system: windows xp sp2 32 bit
graphic card w/ latest driver installed:
VGA sapphire x1950XT R [radeon x1950 series]
maxwell studio 1.7

machine freezes and needs to be restarted

any fix?

maybe you should put sp3

I have similar problems and I tried to uncheck the Vertex buffer OpenGL option.... I don't know if this was the reason but I think it stopped....

heard a lot of bad press about SP3, ... -> if you uncheck this option the navigation becomes seriously compromised, but it certainly beats a system crash.

I re-installed the driver again and so far it did not crash anymore, but the jury is still out on it. Thank you very much for your suggestions.
