Render error? emitter problem

I have a question dealing with rendering, whenever I try to render my current scene I get this error (below). Not sure why, it just started occuring out of nowhere. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Then I have another problem, since I'm a new maxwell I'm still learning how the emitters work, I cannot get my own emitters to work. But if I bring in a premade one in the library they work, so i know i have the scaling the scene right. But my created emitters do not work maybe I'm not checking something idk. Sorry if these are dumb questions. Thanks

you are using an old and outdated version of Maxwell.

Your error has to do with multi-materials from Max, probably. It's fixed in 1.7.

Thanks but I am using 1.7 (image below) but I guess it when it opens up the stand alone render it for some reason opens up 1.6. Not sure why it would do that. ?

You should re-install Maxwell.

Glad I could help! Now you should be able to post some renderings for us to see! :D
