Hi!

If I load an old MXI file, how do I save out the alpha from that MXI?

i have the same problem....i have an open mxi but unfortunately I did overwrite the alpha channel because i started a new rendering.
Now i can only save the image, but not the alpha.....

can somenone help please, its very urgent ans serious (

You would need to have alpha checked from the beginning of the rendering, it's not part of the mxi, it's a separate file that gets rendered. If you overwrote the alpha, render again just the alpha (uncheck the Render channel in output options).

It doesn't take very long to render an alpha. Just check the alpha only.
