Hello, yesterday I was looking for tests about turbidity-ozone and water..and of course their meaning, but I prefer test it myself:
First all I would like share some definitions:
Turbidity: Having sediment or foreign particles stirred up or suspended.
Ozone: an unstable, poisonous allotrope of oxygen, O3, that is formed naturally in the ozone layer from atmospheric oxygen by electric discharge or exposure to ultraviolet radiation, also produced in the lower atmosphere by the photochemical reaction of certain pollutants. It is a highly reactive oxidizing agent used to deodorize air, purify water, and treat industrial wastes...
Water: everybody knows..but it referes haw many water is in the air..

Here goes my results: FOG (absortion:1.0 and scattering:0.0)
1.5 minutes for image,6 sampling level reached:

I´ve choose one with this parametres: Turbidity:10 and change the ozone value and here it´s:FOG (absortion:1.0 and scattering:0.0)

Practically the same scene as result...

Thanks all...test are made with only physical sky (no emitters, no sun activated)..I´m testing FOG effect at this moment...in order to undestand the meaning of this two terms: scattering (dispersión) y absortion (no comment) :wink:

I continue: no physical sky, only 1sphere whit emmiter material simulating sun..
Scattering: phisically means to deflect (radiation o particles).
Absortion: phisically refers to the process in which incident radiated energy is retained without reflection or transmission on passing through a medium.

In two latest test my CPU was going to explode!!! :shock: .Set your scattering value in 0.0!! :wink:

Well this nex test generate to me some doubts:
only physical sky (no sun activated, no emitters)...only change the hour.

My doutbs: from 8.00 to 17.00 hrs, why skylight is always so blue??why walls, floors etc etc are dying with a blue colour??why there is no an hour of the day when the sky is almost white??

No it has more to do with the water contained in the atmosphere also known as "hygrometrie"
