Don't worry about the plugin list, we are considering new ones every day. And with the free SDK any person can create the plugin.

@jdp: I would ask in a blender (software developer) forum. Maybe, you find one person. Some times this people know more about the specific problems of the 3D software, than a NL developer. And, the blender programmer could work together with NL. Maybe, he get a free Maxwell.

I've talk to one of Blender developer. and he told me, that Blender has no SDK to create this plugin. I should be able to export mesh, but not to assign shaders _inside_ Blender - there's no way how to do it (yet).

Oh this old thread. 2.5 years later No Blender Plugin... There is always a faint idea of hope though.

I've been using Blender and Maxwell for ages, but the export .obj - import to studio could be improved with mxs output instead.
Yes a plugin that allows mxm control etc through Blender would be fantastic.
Now Python 2.5 is used for Blender, the shader assign, sdk issue might be workable. I don't know enough Python, or enough of how Blender works, to be able to say if it is.
Tim.

How do you do the work flow when you have to change some mesh on the Studio? Do you have to re-import, pose and assign materials ?
Aminations, motion blur are out of question right?
