Yes...if we do not need maps for anisotropy, this will be the best of any render platform!!!

Hi 8etty,

SSS is not hard to control really, it's the next level of same concept and there's a slight improvement in speed about it. Anisotropy doesn't need brushed maps, it works optionally with rotation maps which you can know more about it in the manual. In other hand, you can simply also use constant variables to control uniform anisotropy rather than mapped.

Best regards,
Tom

Hi Nicolas,

Yes, the bulb animation made by new Emixer Panel, multilight emitter mixer which will be demonstrated more in the following days.

Best regards,
Tom

Emitters+basic layers: cool, very very useful
HDR environment: cool
SSS: finally its back :D - the image looks a bit grainy, i immagine the implementation will be similar to that of the beta. One question - with the beta, SSS tended to create total chaos in the mxl preview window, has this issue been fixed yo?
Anisotropy: cool
A-Team Laboratories: You filed a trademark?

:)

Hi aitraaz,

MXCL preview window is only for preview purposes and never guarantees decent quality. It may fail making the best representation and may contain artifacts but this wouldn't affect the rendered output anyway. So you don't need to worry about it.

Best regards,
Tom

Hey tom with the Emixer Panel, did you save a jpeg or whatever formate out whenever you changed the power of the bulb a little bit? Or was this animated.
