It looks very interesting Olivier

just one thing tho, it'd be nice if the
sunlight lit up the womans butt too..

oh and just to explain why is that
ahum.. it would enhance the overall look and feel of the composition. (
hehe)
Keep up the good work!

he, i see what you want.... actually i'm still studying what lighting i should use, and the sun position is not always easy to set
let's see what i will get

This reminds me a lot of that weird highlight under the paw (?) of the dragon model some weeks ago by Maximus:
...definitely something not right going on there.

here's the same but rendred a bit longer...
tomorrow i'll try to render it without the women, just to see what happens... or what could i test more ?

Olivier, .......just for the heck of it, .......try messing around with the 'slab' geometry .........delete it / rebuild it / ......whatever .....and re-test.

aitraaz, i'll render a scene specially for you
i've made some tests.....

..... weird....look
first i thought it may be the normals of my marble object, so i re-imported it with hard edges...but it doesn't seem to be that...
without the women
moved the lamp
replaced the emitter sphere
is there any hidden spotlight feature ? do i miss something ??

hide the lantern emitter .......and see. I"m curious.
slab: your marble object ........a slab typically refers to a 'sliced' piece of rock/granite/marble/limestone etc ......
"hey, .....that slab of marble is one heavy SOB"

I don't know ........but did you try some new geometry within in the lantern emitter. .......maybe try 2 versions, ......a low poly / high poly.
You also might want to examine the lantern shades ( I would hide the shade) ......then render with the 2 emitter variations. ......see if it's gone,......then bring back the shade.
btw: ......I think you left a window open .......you got some visitors stopping by.

i tried already two different geometries for the lantern emitter, i just want to test a new material for the marble... but no time now... and now i have to chase these pinguins before
