I waited to start on the Maxwell version of this until I could do the materials I needed to do... gettin' there...
Couple of uv issues, yet. All materials are single-layer BSDF's so far.

Impressive texturing skill Mike. Can't help thinking this image could have come out of a number of renderers at a fraction of the time (20mins in fprime?)
I wonder if it'll ever make sense to use Maxwell for this kind of work.

Hey mike, i am working on a model that when i get to texturing it i want it to look VERY beat up and used, like your R2 feet, i am more of a modeler and renderer person, i dont get to do textures, but i want to go the full route, im even going to try to animate the thing. Anyhoo, what rez are your maps for that? they have a huge amount of detail and no distortion.
