For what it is worth, I have the same issue. I was always able to run v1.0 fine, now v1.1 crashes instantly. I also have an Athlon processor - but I thought it was an XP. The AMD CPUInfo utility says it is just an Athlon 1200 Mhz, however.

Hmm....I am seeing a trend here. Next Limit? Any ideas? I know I need a new computer but I am pretty much dead in the water right now.

So anyone got any LIGHT on this? it certinly looks like a Maxwell 1.1 - Older Athlon problem.
We should get a poll going finding out Who has an old Athlon and whether MR 1.1 is working?

As janosch1234 indicated, I would assume that it has to do with the lack of SSEsupport on pre-XP Athlon processors, which was apparently introduced with the October 9, 2001 release of the XP 'Palomino' chip -> http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Athlon#Pal ... 8180_nm.29

NL e-mailed me that they know about that and that they are solving this problem. So we have to wait for the next release.

Thanks vinys! You have shone the light. You too JD but unfortunately I am a bit colour blind to the light you are on and find that psychedelic light on deep dark innards of computers a bit mind numbing on. In other words I have no spent time getting to know.
