I have not read the full thread, but I think, if NL makes advertisment with all the wonderfull new features and catch new users, than NL should say too, what is not implemented. So, NL get less angry user later.

Maxwell is not a surprise box for children, it's commercial product and everybody can buy the preorder now. Why should an user dosn't know what he buy? Strange support.

I wonder me, often I see the NL guyes do small talk, but than they dosn't give simple direct answers for simple direct questions. Something seems to be wrong here.

Tom, could you give a simple direct answer for the question how is developing the Maxwell Rhino pluging? Can we get contact with him in the Rhino forum please?

I've said before the announcement, in the announcement, and after the announcement, that there are many more features already implemented in Maxwell than have been disclosed. That annoucement could've easily been twice as long or longer. It is silly to think you know what isn't going to be in Maxwell and I'd recommend you stop wasting your energy on it. Further announcements are coming, and then you'll have facts, not speculations.

maxwell is a beta or RC! not a finished product.its a prerelease version.

nobody is forced to buy an unfinished product its just an option.
and for beeing a prerelease software its logic that not all thing are working.

i really would beg to keep this thread usefull to the users that want to read information here.
(i for myself am tired of endless complain threads...)

other companies(like maxon) just say "its finished when its finished", that the most save to do...

When every body saw maxwell, we all where amazed, and when we saw that its was at $395 and that the final price is going to be $995 we didn't care if it was in alpha , beta , gamma or what ever, we just bought it because it was a great deal.

I didn't buy Maxwell just because it was a great deal. I bought it based on the feature set and the results people were getting.

What I find more annoying than the complainers are those who will not grant them the latitude to even ask respectful questions. I personally have been careful not to insult or make insinuations about people just because they have been happy with the course of events in the last 6 months. If Tom wants to filter through all of my 900+ posts and find some damning evidence to the contrary, then have at it.

If I ever make a sci-fi movie, I want set pieces that look JUST like this; that's so awesome. God I miss the spinning reel-to-reel tapes I used to see on the Six Million Dollar Man all the time.
