Not in reality... he's that matte when he's that beat up, but I agree that somewhere before I'm done I want to put a beat-up glossy layer...

im begging for a pixel-density-slider for 3dmax for some time now:) this realworld-scale is one step towards that approach so lets see maybe with max10 we might get something dynamic.

i dont think mike is modeling it. he stole an R2 prop and is building it back part by part and is taking photos of it as it grows.
