I found the cl options and launched a new render (still 3 maps missing, though). I will let it cook overnight unless you don't need it anymore. Feel free to submit new mxs if you want other pov. I don't plan to do other renders till next week, so, you're welcome (and nothing to pay, of course).

the kitchen view is rendering right now. I don't think the missing maps show on this view, so maybe I'll keep the render going on. Is the new mxs for the other camera? If so, I can render it tomorrow night. If the render is successfull, I'll give you an ftp link by a private message.

please thomas, feel free to render to the utmost quality, how much time to render you decide, i just need a sharp image output with minimal noise good to know few people are willing to help

i'd like to but cannot succed to open the file in max6 nor directly within maxwell (maybe there some operation i dont know how to do...)

it still not working for me, every time i try to open the file , it try to install maxwell while its already installed and i cannot find how to open the file in another way... (i'm always rendering throught the plug in...)

i'm not used to command line i'm afraid, i'm more a wysiwyg guy

normally you can start rendering a mxs file using mxcl.

Type mxcl to get all the command line options.



I use it that way:

mxcl -mxs:c:/.... -d -mxi:w -threads:...

-d is to show while rendering,
-mxi:w to write the mxi so I might continue render (by starting the next render of the same mxs with the same command adding -mxi:c )
-threads:... use the number of Cpu's u have or 0 for self detection

There are more options ... so if you want to change something have a look what the command line says when you just type mxcl !

I'm unable to render your kitchen with textures. without it is possible.

And unfortunately I don't have MAX to relocate the textures. So either someone gives me a mxs with the textures placed in a folder that can exist at my computer or I cannot join and help.

(If you relocate the textures please indicate also the used folder.)

nope, the app close each time i try to type, i've got to run a full diagonisis on my pc i've had plenty problems recently (complete fragmentation and so on)

I downloaded the correct file including the kitchen and the living.
That's why I said in my last post that I don't have MAX.

I just can't read the file so it doesn't matter if it's included! I can't use it to do it myself and point to the correct textures folders!

Btw: I will not be able to render something till sunday evening because I'm going home this weekend (I'm working in the Netherlands and drive 800km home and sunday 800km back here.)
