Modeled w/ sketchup. Still have modeling to do, but wanted to see what I had so far.

I can't remember the render time or samples (I think it was 18 hrs and 13 SL, just a guess). No glass yet.

C&C welcome. :D :D

ivox3, I wish I could work on this stuff more, that way I could post more, but this is not primary job. As to the forum, I say it has slowed down a bit, but its alive and I well I guess.

Jun In Gi, thanks!

Very nice, are you using s/up 5?, how long did this take you to model in s/up?.

This forum has been dead since the NL withdrawal, it's a shame because at one time it was a good place to hang out. But nothing comapred to the Zbrush forum, very friendly, with lots of people willing to share and help you out. Shame, perhaps it will improve after the launch?.

deesee: ah hell, your doing just fine.....i on the other hand have yet to post a single image. Since i've only come around in the last few months, many many nice images have been posted, so i don't really want to come with something whack or previously done---plus this is a FT job for me now and i currently can't give up render time for personal works or release works not yet on the market. Someday. ....whatever, rambling.

Adehus: yes, and very succinctly put-- i might add. Kind of 'ghost townish', I can sense all these ppl hovering about (ppl who don't post). This is a little abstract, but this makes me think of actual people who come across a ghostown and go searching through the vacant buildings looking for anything valuable left, perhaps reading old town archives in order to learn a thing or two, but the era is bygone and the 'new' people just come and go like specters in the night. ......man, am i weird or what? ..too much imagination. hehe

or maybe it's just the calm ------ like 2 days before christmas when your a kid. Your close, but there's no official holiday. There's nothing to do. ......so, you wait.

i'm gonna go and render some more prisms now. thank you. :) i3

Left Side - I don't remember exactly but a few hours a day when I got home from my real job. I think it took me about 3 or 4 nights and most of the heavy lifting was done. I've never stopped tweeking it since though.

Adam - 100% correct. At first I didn't think I would render from this vantage point so I kept the poly's low in that area...I'll fix. :)

Adehus - Yeah, it looks spartan now, but I'm still not finished. I have to add all the stuff that makes home "home."

As to the forum, its a valuable resource for me. I get answers to my questions all the time. It has slowed down big time though. I can go through the new posts now in like 1/2 hour!!

My question is do you think the final will be released on October 1st or on Halloween??

Thanks all!

P.S. Ivox, get off your butt and post something for pete's sake!! How about the default teapot? :D :D

Great work deesee.
Nice to see some more sketchup work (exept from the wonderful things bakbek produces).
As one architect to another: don't forget the supporting columns..right now that room has zero gravity.
Please post them in the pushpullbar. Other sketchuppers will be pleased.

deesee......

that's so funny, i've been thinking about how to fashion an 'original' rendering using the Obligatory Teapot.

................good call. i3.
