I've had a complete mindblock having not used Maxwell for a while. I'm sure that to create an alpha of a product render i used to change the product material to lambertian (to get a more clean outline) then delete the studio floor that it was sat on and set the environment to none.

This doesn't seem to work now - what am i doing wrong?
